Serving the Community

Experience the healing power of the arts.

“I always look forward to your classes. You are so kind and caring and I always walk away from your class with a smile on my face.”

I have been fortunate to witness the transformative power of the arts in my classes at the Atlanta Mission’s Restoration House, where I have used art and music therapy techniques as tools for healing and community-building among homeless women. For the past two years, I've had the privilege of facilitating weekly classes, creating a safe and expressive space for women to find solace, build community, and explore life skills through creative means.

Through drumming, drawing, and creative movement, we unlock a realm of self-expression and camaraderie. These sessions serve as more than just art and music therapy – they're a testament to the power of creativity in fostering trust, community, and personal growth. In addition to working with the women through the Atlanta Mission, I also have experience teaching music to underserved youth through the Atlanta Music Project and the Atlanta Chamber Music Festival.

If you are looking for someone to facilitate classes or workshops where the transformative power of art and music becomes a beacon of hope please reach out. Together we can prove that every voice deserves to be heard and every story has the potential to inspire change.
